‘East Anglia’s leading Folk/Rock band’
Who Are The Bounty Hounds?
The past 12 years or so have seen The Bounty Hounds performing on folk festival stages across the country from the Welsh Borders to the South Coast, from The West Country to North Yorkshire, from the Midlands to East Anglia.
So who are The Bounty Hounds? Much more than just another folk band with a drum kit, this is real folk/rock, with Kev Wickham’s driving bass lines, Mart Gibson holding the whole thing together behind the drum kit, and Chris Hart’s searing electric guitar driving the back line, with Robbie Nash’s powerful melodeon and John Bosley on Guitar, Bouzouki, Mandolin, Banjo and vocals providing the folky influence at the front.
The Bounty Hounds are well established as a festival band, but don’t just take our word for it:
Extensive use by the band of electric guitar differentiates it from the hundreds of other “folk rock” bands on the circuit at the moment.’ (FATEA)
‘Bringing traditional and their own songs to life with a beat and a bounce. Folk-rock at it’s best’ (Swanage Folk Festival)
‘You find yourself wanting to create a folk music styled mosh pit with multiple joyous people bouncing off each other’ (FATEA)
